RestaurantS & CoffeehouseS
After a day of walking or even in between all the exploring, something to eat and drink must not be missing. So I asked a good friend of mine to help me with some Restaurant, bars and café recommendations.
As before these are just a few of the many opportunities in Vienna and the best thing you can to is to explore at your own. It is also good the call and reserve something in advance just to be on the safe side as sometimes Restaurants can be a bit full, but most of the times you will be fine by just walking in. Also don’t forget to always have some Cash on you because in a few places the don’t take card. Last note, if you want to find out more about the restaurants and how to get there just google them :)
Classic vienese restaurants
Schweizer Haus (2nd district): Located in the “wurstel prater” it´s one of the bigger tourist spots on the list. I would recommend to call in advance.
Figlmüller Wollzeile (1st district): Famous for one of the best places to get a authentic “Wiener Schnitzel” and located in the first district. Also a place where you should call in advance and make a reservation.
Gigerl - Der Stadtheurige (1st district)
Heuriger Muth (19th district)
Feuerwehr Wagner (19th district)
